I am a 23 year old nature enthusiast, wishing to see as much of the world as possible. After studying abroad for three months in the autumn of 2013, my eyes opened up to the great possibility of a different lifestyle than that which I have grown up around. Originating from right outside of Washington DC, USA, in the heart of suburbia, I had always imagined myself going straight to graduate school after university but seeing the different ways that other cultures approach life has profoundly impacted my goals for the next few years.
I want to become fluent in the French language (I have a proficient, but basic, understanding of it presently). I would love to work with animals and the land, and to learn what it truly means to live sustainably. I want to get away from the distractions of television and the pressure of school/work, and to invest in my own self-exploration by expanding my mind and challenging myself in every way.
I love people! I consider myself motivated (I'm a very hard worker!)- yet easygoing, quite personable and I adapt well to new situations.
I'm so excited to see where life takes me!
