After spending my first 8 years growing up in Africa, my family migrated to the lucky land of Australia, straight to a small town in the middle of Queensland with a population of a mere 1500 people.

I live to travel, I love new adventures and I adore meeting new people. I'm hoping that through Couchsurfing, I can experiences what 'behinds the scenes' of your home is truly like, far away from the well-beaten tourist track, and I'm especially hoping I can experience this with new found friends!

Music: I love the atmosphere music helps to create, so my music taste varies depending on where I am, who I'm with and what I'm doing.
Movies: I am definitely a sucker for a good rom-com, but I tend to enjoy whatever I watch. My most recent favourite would have to be the Fundamentals of Caring.
Books: Mitch Albom is one of my favourite authors. I like a good novel, such as Perfume, the Great Gatsby, and I will admit that I also fell in love with the Fault in Our Stars.

At this stage in my life, I am definitely better at learning than teaching. But, in saying that, I am more than happy to teach people about travelling around Australia, where to go, what to do, and what to avoid, from the magnificent Mallacoota to the big and beastly dropbears.

From years of working in hospitality, I am super good at cleaning up after dinner parties and at pouring the perfect beer, wine or mixer! I would also love to share experiences with them, new and old - and last but not least, a friendly smile!
