Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am currently backpacking around Europe. I will be back home in July in Dana Point, CA. I feel like I can afford to stay in hostels, but I feel like I will just have way more fun couchsurfing and meeting people all over the world. Especially getting to know locals from the place I am traveling to I think will just be so cool.
Anyone who hosts me will always have the option to come stay with me back at my place in Dana Point, California as well. I'm looking to make friends here!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I've done is that I have traveled to South Africa to complete research on wildlife (specifically scavengers) at a reserve. I was chosen by a foundation and the trip was completely paid for. I went with 9 other students. It was probably the greatest experience of my life, and it ignited my passion to travel and see new places.
