I'm an outgoing, sociable person and I love getting stuck in to trying new things. It doesn't take long to get to know me as I'm pretty open from the get go. Music makes my world go round and I'm pretty much always listening to something and doing my best not to dance and be too extra in public. I'm quite chatty so I'd love to share travel stories with you over a glass of wine or a coffee.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting new people is one of the main reasons I'm addicted to travelling, so I thought I'd give Couchsurfing a go on this trip and see if I can't make some friends and form genuine connections with people who know the city I'm staying in. Hopefully I'll be able to return the favour when I'm back living in the UK.

Music, Movies, and Books

ANY soul, funk, disco and pre-2000s R&B. Most folk music, especially Latin American and Spanish. Usually listen to Al Green, Erykah Badu or Rosalía radios on Spotify, with the occasional guilty pleasure playlist.

I read more poetry than books, and more series than movies, but I'm always keen for recommendations.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bungee jumped from a 100 ft high bridge for only $20. Simultaneously the best and stupidest thing I've ever done... Lived to tell the tale though.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'll look over any assignments you might have in English, or help you with your pronunciation, or just chat with you for conversation practice. If not, I'll cook you something delicious for dinner. I can also teach you to salsa or jive if you're up for it.
