Happy to see Couchsurfing is still working.
Few years ago i was travelling a lot all around Europe (13 European countries in 2017 !) and Couchsurfing allowed me to meet a lot of local people in the countries I visited. I hosted Couchserfers sometimes as well.

I lived one year in Slovenia as European Volunteer. Now i am trying to travel less by plane because of climat change. And when I do it, I really want to connect with the local community, to feel the real heart and the very essence of the country :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is the opportunity for me to be in touch with local people, to get the best advices to visit the cities and to exchange. It's also a way to be out of confort zone, speaking English and being with new people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on the top of Slovenia (Triglav). We hiked for 3 days to go up and down. When we arrived back to the car, my friend didnt find the keys of our car. The key stayed in the refuge on the top. It has been repatriated by helicopter !
