About Me

I am currently studying but willing to travel as much as I can. I must say I am particularly attracted by northern countries and especially by the UK, but also by Germany, because I really enjoy speaking german. I cannot think about another thing to mention than music, that could sum up my entire life, but I also really love cinema (which goes together with music) and literature. I write a lot, and take a few pictures, so I’m very curious about everything, and I am keen on meeting people, but meeting places as well, and atmospheres. My definition of travelling lies in Kerouac’s pages

Music, Movies, and Books

I am highly interested in art, and here are some names of artists who inspire me v v much : MUSIC : King Krule, Jerkcurb, Air, The Pixies, La Femme, Radiohead, David Bowie, The Beatles, Portishead, Ween, Fat White Family, (Sandy) Alex G, Radiohead, Crumb, The Smiths, Connan Mockasin... And a special mention to Where is my mind . CINEMA : David Lynch (for we seem to share the same intuition), Wes Anderson, Stanley Kubrick, Lars Von Trier, Jim Jarmusch of course, Quentin Tarantino (who I am a big fan of). My favourite movie is without too much hesitation Fight Club. But I would spend an entire night remembering of other breathtaking ones (saying this, Dracula just comes to my mind). I recently saw Cold War and Leto, and these were for instance films I particularly enjoyed. LITERATURE : since I study amongst other subjects literature, I have come to appreciate some french writers such as Nathalie Sarraute, Julien Gracq, Claude Simon, Roland Barthes, Samuel Beckett, Baudelaire, Musset, Aragon, Breton, Desnos (I am keen on poetry) but also Chuck Palahniuk, Borges, Kerouac, Burroughs, Faulkner and many many others. If I had to choose one book I would say (in the very situation I am) Confessions d’un enfant du siècle (which was adapted as a movie, giving to Peter Doherty the most beautiful occasion to appear on screen)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This summer in Liverpool where my friends and I unexpectedly attended to Paul McCartney’s surprise gig just among a few very lucky fans who still can’t believe this

Teach, Learn, Share

I’ll love to make you discover some music or art (especially french one) and of course I would be extremely pleased to discover new bands and artists myself ! Every meeting (of any kind since I believe we can meet atmospheres and places) is very important to me.

I wish I could make you as enthusiastic as I am about art
