Overview
About Me
Student from Berlin, currently absolving a semester abroad in Switzerland.
I want to see as much of the world as possible, interested in meeting new people around the world. Blablabla -
Well, thats pretty much what everyone here is searching for. But let's be honest: I travel on low budget, so I tried couchsurfing and I liked it! Getting in touch with people you never would have met otherwise is more than a nice side effect! :)
I am interested in botanics, language phenomenons, learning new languages and enlarge my vocabulary in the languages I am already learning, grabbing a good beer or two, exploring chill places to have some relaxed moments but also enjoying adventure an nightlife.
This is a quite new profile. So please excuse that there are little references by now. By now, I couchsurfed in Israel and in Belgium.
I can not stand discrimination or disrespectful behavior of any kind. So it's clear I only want to share time with non-ignorant, open minded people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Currently, as I am new in Switzerland, I want to see the many facets of this country - lakes, mountains, beautiful landscapes in general, the urban and the rural environments, different languages, great food - as possible. Couchsurfing might be perfect for three reasons: First of all, my past experiences with couchsurfers have been fun, so I'm curious about meeting more couchsurfers. Second of all, meeting locals in a country I just get to know might be really helpful and last but not least, as living here is so expensive, it's the only way I can make this wish come true.
Interests
I like cooking, trying new foods, drinks and recipes, I also do like riding my bicycle and discover neighborhoods by bicycle, going for a swim, sometimes I do bouldering, but also like it the relaxed way when I'm not at work or university and enjoy TV-shows, movies or a good book (mostly nonfiction but also some novels oder poetry). And I would call myself respectful an decent, in case you might wonder.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy rap very much and by that I am interested in hiphop culture as well.
But I also enjoy techno music and it's scene around.
But I'm kind of open to every genre.
Favorite Poet is Franz Kafka.
Presently favorite book: Retour à Reims (Didier Eribon)
Favorite movies might be Inglorious Basterds, Le Prénom (Der Vorname), Alien, Oh Boy, and many more that don't come to my mind right now.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing penguins and dolphins in Chile did really impress me.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: Maybe I can help you with bringing you dying plants back to live
Learn: I am always interested to learn some facts and words about and in a language I am learning or didn't know by now at all
