I am a 27yr old Aussie chick from Bendigo, Victoria. The last 2 years I have been raising my 2 adorable nieces, caring for my ill step-father, working at a meat factory and working backstage in theatre. I have finally been given a break and decided to work in the States for a few months at a summer camp before moving back to Melbourne next year. I feel I am a very happy, positive and energetic, as well as laid back person, very very easy to get along with and very easy to entertain. No high maintenance here. I like to enjoy and appreciate the little things and really just ready to get back out there explore and have a rocking time with some magical people

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This is my first big adventure OS so a bit scary and new for me. I feel living it up with the locals is the best way to learn your new surroundings, discover hidden treasures and hopefully make amazing new friends.

Interests

I see myself as an active person with a broad interest in many topics. I am very much happy to always explore & learn new things. I really love cooking and baking , specialising in personalised cakes for any occasion. As a hobby/volunteer work each year I hand sew soft toys (teddys, elephants, dolphins etc) for families living in poverty. Theatre I adore, working in various roles but thriving in stage management. If not at work my time was spent with my 2 nieces I cared for playing, creating, cooking, going on adventures and doing lots of dancing! I am not a professional dancer in any way but it would have to be my most favourite thing to do!

Music, Movies, and Books

Not sure I have specifics, I go to all kinds of music festivals, just anything with a good beat or hit a string is great with me. I watch every genre of film and just love a good book

Assisted in helping, and knowing that 2 little girls are going to grow up happy and healthy surrounded by nothing but love after suffering a tough upbringing
