Hi there!

I'm Emma and I am a performer and event organiser. I am also technically a Food Technologist but sometimes life drags you in a completely unexpected direction! I am Irish but I grew up in France before moving to the Netherlands to study for my BSc.

In my spare time I love to cycle, eat great food, read and start fun creative projects for no reason whatsoever (such a creating my own internet radio station for 24 hours!). I love to travel by bike and have done several tours around the Netherlands and France.

I love telling and hearing stories, of both the fictional and non-fictional variety, that is why I love to travel by bike and meet new people :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm an active user of warmshowers.org as I do a lot of cycle touring but I thought it would also be fun to become part of the couchsurfing community too!

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all kinds of music but I have a guilty pleasure for punk-rock.
I am a bit of a big bubbly child so pretty much any disney movie is a winner for me.
I wouldn't even know where to begin when picking a favourite book but, because it made me cry with both laughter and sadness, Deric Longden's "Lost for Words" has to be up there in my top picks.
