Informazioni generali
Chi sono
I grew up in suburbia and went to University in Northern Ontario, where I've seen snow in June. After university I changed my career plan biweekly and ended up doing some free-lance writing, wrote some book reviews, worked at a library, traveled in the USA, worked as a pantry chef at a summer camp on an island in the woods, traveled in Europe, worked at a bookstore, traveled in the USA again, worked at summer camp, traveled in Europe again, worked at the bookstore, went to live in India while volunteer teaching, worked at summer camp again, then traveled in the USA to meet up with a friend from Australia I had met in India. Right now I am looking to find a job in Toronto, and am not able to host since I'm living in a very full house with my parents in the suburbs: not the sort of place a traveler would want to stay in, since there's nothing to do and there's a baby living in my house. Who does baby things like cry all night.
Perché sono iscritto su Couchsurfing
I want to travel and meet more locals, and get to know a place from a different perspective, outside of the tourist traps and crowded hostels (which I do like, at times). I also would be interested in eventually hosting people when I have my own place so that I can meet new people, show them around and learn about where they're from.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto
The most amazing experience I've ever had was celebrating Holi, the Hindu festival of colours, while I was living near New Delhi.
Insegna, impara, condividi
I know a fair few random facts. I'm good at making grilled cheese. And when I say I'm good at making grilled cheese, I mean spinach and artichoke grilled cheese, or margherita pizza grilled cheese.
I want to learn more about other places, yoga, languages, recipes, anything.
