Overview
About Me
Being sat at a desk each day gave me itchy feet so I abandoned London in 2015 and my work as a Graphic Designer to live in France and Germany, with plans to improve my languages, practice art and writing and to meet new people and experience new ways of living.
I love learning new skills and questioning my perceptions, having long conversations and rambles.
I started my trip in a commune in the Corsican mountains, living without electricity and off of the land. In October I settled in Berlin where I now work for a solar energy art project called Little Sun, travelling around Europe as much as I can, exploring and meeting new faces.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meeting all of you amazing locals is the best way to travel.
Interests
I grew up around photography and it has always been my passion. I work as a graphic designer for an artist and in my spare time I make books, mostly of my travelling photographs and writing.
I've always lived in cities, but being in the mountains and by the sea with the heat of the sun, I instantly feel at home. I love cycling, hiking and swimming.

Music, Movies, and Books
I can get pretty nerdy about rap and electronic music.
Generally I'm always happy with David Lynch, Werner Herzog and Michel Gondry.
J.D. Salinger, George Orwell, Anais Nin, Kurt Vonnegut, Miranda July, Terry Pratchett.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Quiting my job and moving to a commune in the Corsican mountains to build walls, garden and make clearings in the forest with a machete for a chicken pen is pretty high-up there.
