Hi, my name is Emma!
I'm a young explorer looking to get to know other countries, people and sometimes a part of myself :) I love travelling, music, dancing, painting, cooking.. I also sing together with my boyfriend Alexander, he' s a guitar playing monkey bartender in one of the coolest bars in Ghent ;) We love to explore the world together and share our music along the way!
My other passion is fashion, I have my own 2hand/vintage clothing line based on the 70's.. Hippie, bohemian, gypsy, African, Indian.. In all colors and sizes, for men too!

We have a lovely dog called Pipa and a crazy half caribbean cat, just like me :D The cat stays at home most of the time but Pipa is allways travelling with us, she is a gift from heaven! She always gives us strength and energy to go on and is so gratefull for being adopted.. She lived in the streets of Romenia when she was just a puppy and ended up in a Shelter called St Fransiscus Angels.. Thanks to a friend we got in touch with the organisation because they needed foster homes from time to time and we were (are) crazy about dogs! Sometimes people adopt a dog and after a few months they just had enough of it and bring it back, it's so sad.. But that's exactly what happened to Pipa :( So when she was 5 months old she ended up being our foster puppy and she never left.. <3 In the beginning she was really shy and insecure but she totally flourished after a few days, beside of being so sweet to us she also learned a lot in a very fast time! I never saw a dog with such intelligence as her :) When you meet her, you will fall in love instantly!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because the world is too big to explore everything, but seeing a country true the eyes of someone who lives there is almost as satisfying as being there myself ( I have a lot of imagination!).. Share knowledge, beautiful stories and expierences, music, a place to sleep, a meal,.. “Love only grows by sharing. You can only have more for yourself by giving it away to others.”

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed a Vulcano in Martinique, the view was extraordinary! We also lived in the jungle for quit some time on the same island, living of fish we catched ourselves and fruits.
