Hey there! My name is Emma and I love meeting new people and having new experiences. I'm very spontaneous and I'm always up for anything. Before the pandemic, I lived in Asia for a few years before returning back to the states for some adventures there.

Now, I'm on a work trip in Portugal for the next several weeks. I'll be based out of Salema and I'd love to meet up with some couchsurfers while I'm here. Feel free to message me for a hang!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've used CS on and off for years throughout my travels and it has honestly led to some of my favorite travel experiences and amazing friendships. I think Couchsurfing is such a great creation and an amazing way to meet fellow adventurers and learn from their experiences.

To explore the world and meet new people. I think that the best way to learn about yourself is to meet people who are different than you from all around the world. I love life and the people in it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a semester living with a Spanish family in Northern Spain studying Spanish. Before arriving in Hanoi, Vietnam to teach, I also spent almost 2 years living, volunteering and solo traveling throughout India and Nepal.

I think I have a very positive outlook on life. I love talking with people and sharing my experiences. I think you can learn something from everyone you meet and I look forward to learning from other people and hearing what they have to share as well.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I've learned the hard way how to travel on a budget, so I love giving people tips on budget backpacking and solo traveling! I've also tried to learn ways of volunteering abroad in different and ethical ways and I love to help people do the same :)
