Hi all! I made this account several years ago and never got a chance to use it....until now! :D

My husband, Anand, just finished grad school for occupational therapy, so I quit my job and we're going on an adventure before we move back to Chicago!

We're both fun-loving and chill. We love meeting new people from all walks of life, trying new foods, seeing live music and art, hiking and nature, and just generally enjoying life :)

We joined CS to meet new friends from around the world and make connections with people we may never have crossed paths with otherwise :)

We love anything unique, strange, beautiful, interesting... much more interested in those things than traditional tourist-y stuff. But that being said, we enjoy ourselves wherever we end up!

We also want to host when we settle back into Chicago!

We are always looking for new music and discovering new artists/bands. We're into Interpol, LCD Soundsystem, Them Are Us Too, Frightened Rabbit, Radiohead, She Past Away, Future Islands, The National, Drab Majesty, White Lies, Cold Cave, Empathy Test, Still Corners, Operators, The Lumineers, Other Lives, Ólafur Arnalds, Dustin O'Halloran, Screaming Females, Meshuggah, Sidewalks and Skeletons, Arcade Fire, Alcest, Chris Stapleton, First Aid Kit... these are just some off the top of my head, but we love all kinds of music regardless of genre!

I'm a nurse and Anand is an occupational therapist, so we have plenty of medical and science knowledge if you're interested in that kind of thing :)
