About Me
I'm from Finland and at the moment studying political sciences in Berlin, learning German and other things on the way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I enjoy meeting new people and sharing stories, I often rather meet locals than stay in hostels and in a turist-bubble.
Hosting has proved to be nice too!

Music, Movies, and Books
Getting out of a long phase of being poor with music, also used to play the oboe and would love to find the motivation for that again, mostly down for techno for dancing!
Of movies Space Odyssey 2001, The Passion of Joan of Arc, Leviathan, Son of Saul, many movies by Kieslowski(!!), Ida, Mommy, Les Amours Imaginaires, Searching for Sugar Man, Exit Through the Gift Shop, A Fantastic Woman and I, Daniel Blake have impressed me lately and not-so-lately.
Some of my favorite books so far are Crime and Punishment, Sophie's choice, and Vielleicht Esther by Katja Petrovskaja. I really like Patti Smith and Tove Jansson, and I find Wittgenstein and Simone Weil super interesting! Also I respect Svetlana Aleksijevitš a lot.
