My name is Emma, a 20 y/o dutch girl. At the moment I have a gap year and working full time at a restaurant in Amsterdam. My plan is to travel and try to find a new studie for next year.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to travel to different places and because I never travelled on my own, I went looking for more information and came across Couchsurfing. I never heard of it, but I think the whole concept of Couchsurfing is just amazing.

Books: gone girl, wonder, we were liars, the art of people

Music: I don't have a specific music genre that I really like, but some of my all time favourite artists are two door cinema club, reinier zonneveld, the fleet foxes, Atlas Genius, future generations

Movies: I'm not really a 'movie person', I rather just watch a serie. So some of my favourite series are: stranger things, Jessica jones, modern family, Brooklyn 99, bones.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Learning how to surf at Kuta Beach, Bali. Still not great at it, but really enjoyed trying it :)
