I'm taking a career break and I'm using the time to do a bit of traveling. I have worked in the oil and gas industry for the past 5 years, as a process engineer. But the current slump in oil prices has forced me to take time out and go traveling, something I have always wanted to do. I spent the last 6 months traveling in north, central and south America and Australia. Now I am travelling around South East Asia, starting in Bangkok. I stayed with some great hosts in Ecuador and when I'm settled somewhere I will definitely be opening my doors to return the favour.
