About Me
Hi,
As a kid my mother has always taken me on her travels with her and I guess that's where I got my travel bug. So early on I saw a lot of different places, different types of people and different ways of living which intrigued me ever since.
I'm raised in a very creative and cultural family and have many interests in everything culture. I would give you a list but it would never end! My first loves are drawing and photography. I graduated as a high school teacher for English and arts as a result of my love for travel and all things art :-)
For some funny reason we always had cats as pets, but I am actually more of a dog person!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love getting to know new people and definitely feel that the best way to see a new place is with the help of a local.
Eventough my profile doesn't show I've hosted, I have. But not through the app. I have invited strangers after talking to them for only a short while in a bar or even through a facebook group.
At this moment I am not hosting but my dad is hosting couchsurfers in my old room, so I feel like I can claim a wee bit of the credit for that haha
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I moved to the other side of the world to be with the man I loved. Sadly it didn't work out but I would do it again in the blink of an eye!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can help you out with English if it's not a first language :)
I love anything crafty and can teach some different techniques from drawing, painting, collage to claywork and many more!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love cooking a (not so) healthy meal and I'm full of banter and stories!
