Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've heard about Couchsurfing from a fiend of mine who had a beautiful experience and made new friends along her trip. I find the idea of staying by local people for a night or two much more interesting than boring and "soulless" hotels. It gives the real feeling of the place or a land visited.
