Hi!! I’m Emma! It’s nice to meet you! I’m starting a new adventure!!

Last year I went on my first solo trip, spending 10 weeks in Europe. I went to 6 different countries, 15 cities, and 17 different hostels. I loved the feeling of independence and adventure, and I'm ready to go again and hopefully stay for good this time.

I've been an introvert my whole life, but on my trip in Europe I became the person who reaches out and draws people in for new, shared experiences that enrich our lives even when we don't expect it. I would love to continue that journey.

I’ve been back with my parents in the US for a few months and it feels so strange now, knowing how much better and more exciting life can be.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m trying to travel the world on a budget! I’ll mostly be solo, so I would love to make some friends. That was one of the best parts of my last trip. I feel like I collected lifelong friends in every city I went to. I’m visiting some of them when I get back!! I’m especially looking forward to meeting locals and hearing about their communities.

Interests

I love watching football and motorsport! Last year I went to a charity football match in Frankfurt and two FC Bayern Munich matches in Munich. I also went to a Formula E race in London. Besides that I enjoy singing, sewing, reading, journaling, and trying local beer.
