Overview
About Me
My dad is English and my mum is German. I was born in London where I lived for 6 years before moving to Leipzig. I have a sister Hannah who is 4 years older than me (though much smaller- as I like to remind her) and she often says that the first 4 years of her life were also the best although of course she doesn't mean it because I'm actually the light of her life. Now I live in the wonderful city of Leipzig with my mother after my sister sadly moved to Kassel to study there. My dad lives in Berlin and I often visit him even though I'm not sure if I like Berlin that much.... People do say that Leipzig is the new Berlin!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing because both me and my mother always love to meet new people and to travel! Both means a lot to me because I don't feel 100% at home in Germany and that could also be a reason why I really love to learn new languages...

-there are so many bands and singers I like I literally can't decide...
I like all kinds of movies except horror movies because they're always soo predictable and I don't like the paranoia afterwards. I'll forever love my childhood favourites like kung fu panda and 101 dalmations and the Miyazaki films will always have a special place in my heart.
Books
I read a lot, everything from Jane Austen to travel guides to fantasy or sci-fi novels.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I managed to knock both my front teeth out one after the other when I was young just by tripping and face-planting onto the pavement. I'm clever like that.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd really like to improve my French because I'm not sure if the 7 years of French lessons were that effective...
And my mother has been learning Spanish these past 3 or 4 years so she'd be happy to learn more (preferably without learning vocabulary).
In return we can teach some very useful Pride & Prejudice quotes so you can impress the hellout of some English people but we also know a lot of handy Madagascar ones if you'd prefer those...
Another thing we are happy to teach is the fantastic and .... let's say unique and interesting saxony dialect. The German language knows no boundaries.
