Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because a friend of mine has spoken very highly of it, not just for accommodation but also in terms of meeting new people. I wanted to sign up to find out more, meet new people and try couch surfing when travelling.

I recently moved to Amsterdam so thought it would be a good way to meet travellers even though I can't host, but as a "meet-up". And also, as I will be travelling in the future but not necessarily on a huge budget I thought this might be a good option as well.

I am curious and excitable. I am interested in discovering new places and in particular getting to know what the locals like best about places. I also like to share my "insider knowledge" about places I've been. I'm super respectful of your house and will help you with whatever needed.
