Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hoping to meet some great French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Brazilian, South American amigos to laugh, share good times with and maybe occasionally crash on one another's couch if they can deal with that :) :) we can share our languages and hopefully become fluent just by our crazy conversations!

Interests

My greatest loves are music and art, and I have a semi-religious love of both the Studio Ghibli films and of the greatest band of all time The Grateful Dead. I am a friendly person and like to make others laugh, I enjoy big nights out once in a while but am also very happy sharing a nice bottle of wine over dinner, chatting to my friends. If you are a friendly, open minded person that doesn't take life too seriously then I'm sure we would get along :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Pretty much any music from any genre as long as it has a decent tune and lyrics...in a nutshell: Acoustic, 70s Rock, Motown, psychedelic anything, Reggae, acid house and maybe a little techno once in a while...

My favourites are movies that are profound, beautifully shot and have an underlying message that changes your perspective on life. However, any film that can make me laugh is also a big YES for me!
