Overview
About Me
My name is Emma and I'm from the north of England. I was raised in the beautiful Lake District and my hometown is surrounded by mountains and lakes - I love it!
I could be described as somewhat introverted, but I love people! I'm most at home in small groups as opposed to 1-1 situations, but if you want to talk to me, then I'll love the chance to talk to you :)
Conversations about life, the universe and everything are always wonderful.
In my perfect world I'd have read tonnes of philosophical books, be able to play the piano and violin, sew like a pro, speak at least 5 different languages, have visited half the countries in the world, know everything about Psychology, Forensics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Astronomy, be an excellent photographer and cook and been a positive influence on the world.
But, for now, I'll just keep working on that! :P
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm keen to travel the world and to meet new people with the hope of learning new things, seeing new perspectives on life and possibly making some lifelong friends!
Interests
Currently, I spend a lot of time trying to study. I currently enjoy learning to cook new recipes (I'm still a novice), playing computer games with my friends and trying to learn Arabic!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I'm currently in love with Agnes Obel and London Grammar, although I listen to a variety of stuff from Ludovico Einaudi, KoRn, Twenty One Pilots and Ben Howard.
Movies: I absolutely loved Good Will Hunting! It had some really sweet messages in it.
Books: I haven't read too many fiction books since I was younger, and spend my time trying to finish books such as 'Into That Darkness'. Recently started reading 'The Kite Runner'.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Nothing especially exciting yet - I'm still young! But I hope to change that very soon. :)
Although going to Morocco with my Dad was absolutely fantastic.
