About Me

I'm probably your average young idealist. Since graduating college, I've worked at a sustainable farm, an international fair-trade nonprofit, an animal shelter, and am now serving as an Americorps VISTA member at a nonprofit working on food waste and food security issues in Baltimore. I'm enjoying exploring different areas of interest and slowly figuring my life!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm young, poor, and love meeting interesting people. This seems like a great way to explore the world!

Interests

Food, from all angles. Growing it, eating it, making sure others get to eat it too.

Animals, of all kinds. Learning about them, observing them, snuggling them, finding them homes.

I love pretty much anything involving nature and the outdoors. I'm also a big fan of books and stories in general. Several hobbies also revolve around music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I participated in an archaeological dig in the Carpathian foothills. I'm not sure if that qualifies as amazing, but it was definitely a pretty cool experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'll happily learn anything you want to share! I can talk about dogs, trees, plants, music, obscure animals, or any experiences I've had that you'd like to hear about.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can bring you some Old Bay if you'd like a taste of Baltimore!
