About Me

I don't really like talking too much about myself, I am here to listen and learn from interesting people while hopefully making a positive impact on them.

Even though I moved away from my home, my family and friends is still the most important thing for me. I am here to experience as much as I can to get perspective in life. So then when I return to my home South Africa I will be enriched about the world and what it has to offer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I immigrated to the Netherlands and just want to travel and meet people. And that is how I found Couchsurfer - through friends doing just that in South Africa. I am very interested in other cultures, food, architecture, nature and languages.

Some of the best friends I made in South Africa are expats and now I am one of them and looking for similar experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

From oldies to indie and rock and roll. To electronic and drum and bass music. I love it all. As long as it has a rhythm.
Series are even more difficult than music- there's just too much... I love animation and fun comedic series as well as more serious doctor type series or thrillers like Black Mirror.
I read a lot of books and have recently decided that I can read more than one book at a time. My main love is super long fantasy series. I also read other story books, but never non-fiction unless its for work.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took an unpaid month off my Mechanical Engineering job to go work as a bartender in South Africa's only ski resort and that led to me deciding to move abroad.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a yes-man. I am keen to join in on most things and supply fun and laughter.
