About Me
I left school in June 2014 and decided that instead of trying to settle down into a job I had no idea whether I would like, I would use my savings to travel the world and see what else the planet has to offer. I love exploring new places and trying new things and I'd much rather be out living life to it's full potential than stuck in an office. I want to see as much of the world as possible and maybe even live in a few different countries for a while to really immerse myself into another culture.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have been traveling for 3 months already and have stayed at a variety of hostels and hotels in that time but I find that you don't necessarily get to know a place as well as if you meet someone local. I want to couchsurf so that I can get the insider track on what it's really like in the places I'm visiting rather than just doing all the normal backpacker and hostel stuff. I also think it's really interesting to get a local view of a city rather than a visitor view as I've found these differ greatly and it's sometimes more fun to be introduced to local hotspots rather than touristy ones.
Interests
I played rugby for 3 years at university but my main interest before that was music and I studied the violin, piano and singing whilst at school. Whilst rugby will probably always be my no.1 sport, I'm happy to be introduced to and play new ones, especially if they are a big part of local culture. Sports and music are my main interests but I'm happy to try something new and see if it takes my fancy! I also love to be outdoors and will happily try any outdoor activity that a place has to offer :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I really can't pick any favorites here as my tastes are very varied and I'll pretty much read / watch anything that's suggested to me!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Faced my biggest fear in life and did the NEViS 134m bungy jump in Queenstown
Teach, Learn, Share
One of the things on my bucket list is to learn another language and I would love to do this whilst travelling. I haven't got too many skills to teach but I can share the English way of life and introduce people to many of the sports I've encountered in the last few years :)
