Hi! My name is Emma and I go to school in Orange County, California! I was born in Durban, South Africa, but lived in Vancouver, Canada for most of my life. I have been studying abroad in Barcelona but will be traveling in May and June around Europe. I am a Liberal Arts major concentrating in humanities, so I am always down to talk about literature, politics or philosophy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I feel very accomplished that I studied abroad in Barcelona, Spain this semester! I have taken Spanish for three years (though was not very good at it) but moved to Barcelona in January to study at the Universitat de Barcelona. I took all my classes in Spanish and lived with a host family. Needless to say, it was very overwhelming. However, my Spanish has improved quite a bit, and I am so proud of how much I have grown as a person from this experience.
