Hi, my name is Emma and I am a 19 years old girl from Germany! I love to travel and of course to meet new people all over the world, that’s what I am here for.
Growing up in a little town in the middle of Germany never was enough for me. I always wanted to go away, on adventures and big journeys and so I started as soon as I turned 18 to make my dreams come true.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don’t like being in a hotel because there is nothing like a community there, your just in your own. As I experienced some good friendships from hostels and backpacker lodges I really enjoyed this kind of stay. Being a couch surfer seems to be quite close to that experience because you learn a lot more about the place you stay and the people who live there.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to pretty much every music but I love indie! Arctic Monkeys and The Kooks the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Alt-J is almost everything I need.
By the way I really like festivals. I’ve been to SMS and Kosmonaut Festival yet (both in Germany), but I definitely will add more to the list.

What kind of girl would I be if I wouldn’t like all this Nikolas Spark love stories, which make you cry from the first minute to the last? But as I grew up with an older brother (everybody with siblings should know the fight for the remote), I had to watch a lot of action movies as well and some of that seemed to be not to bad. Anyway my absolutely favorite movie is Pearl Harbour, which you should have seen at least twice in you life because once wouldn’t be enough...

Even if I was scared as hell, I once did a skyjump and I am still alive!

There are not many things I can teach besides from some little German language skills but I am pretty much interested in learning new things like languages, sports or even magic tricks. So you’re more than welcomed to teach me all you know!
