I'm a 23 year old traveller from New Zealand. I've just finished my degree in accounting and am taking a break from life before I have to go back and start my actual career :) although my degree wasn't as boring as it sounds my true passion in life is travelling! I love seeing new places and experiencing different cultures.

Being from New Zealand I feel like we are very sheltered from the rest of the world. It's only when I travel and actually immerse myself in another culture, I realise how naive I am to what's actually going on. Whether it be about politics, sports, history, traditions, or even entertainment, I love learning as much as I can about a place while I'm there. That is why I love couchsurfing so much! Being able to stay with a locals and have great conversations is very special :)

I'm very open minded and easy going. I can quite easily spend the whole day reading a good book or on the other hand be out partying all night with my friends. While I'm travelling I like to be out exploring as much as I can and eating as much food as I can too :p

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to experience the true culture and traditions of a country and what better way to do it than staying with locals who you can learn and share memories with :) I love talking to and meeting new people and the couchsurfing community is full of friendly likeminded people that love to share and learn from each other

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music from house to mainstream to alternative. Any live music is amazing! My favourite playlist would be 'summer jams' as I'm driving around. There is nothing better than driving down the road and belting out one of your favourite songs! I do love kiwi artists! Six60, Drax Project, Ciaran McMeekan and Mitch James to name a few :)

Horror and romantic comedies :) I love a good scary movie and a soppy romantic movie any day of the week

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hot air ballooned over the fairy chimneys in Cappadocia. It was absolutely breathtaking!
Volunteered on an organic farm in Ireland. Not as exciting but I learnt so much and made the best friends :)
Seen the great pyramids in Egypt! This was always my dream growing up and it did not disappoint

What I Can Share with Hosts

Some pleasant company and good conversation. Respect for them and their home and hopefully I can share some joy while I'm there too! I wouldn't say I'm a great cook but I like cooking :) I would love to cook meals with my hosts and make some lovely memories
