I believe real connection is possible amongst all people. Regardless of visible (or less visible) differences, at our core we all share the same humanity. This is so often forgotten in today's society, where "the individual" rules, but if we just opened our eyes, listened to people, and disidentified from our mind every once in a while... We would just feel we're all from the same exact mix!

I want to learn from people. It is not cliché, I believe you can learn something valuable literally from anyone, whether the exchange is obvious or you leave without having noticed it, your baggage will be richer. It's an amazing opportunity to be able to travel and discover new places through the lenses of local people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sharing dinner and a few drinks with an old Vietnamese couple without me knowing a word of Vietnamese, and them not knowing a word of English. But, as said above, you can connect with anyone... We laughed, communicated with gestures... That was enough to have an unforgettable evening. The simple things are the best. :)
