About Me
After graduating in December, 2014, I decided that this life is too short to not give my dreams a little time to play. Saying that, I packed up a bag of what ever possessions I didn't pawn for airfare and took off. Almost 3 years later and I'm still wandering and moving around. I've met some amazing people and have a lot of great memories.
I am starting a new job where I'll be on the road 24/7 And look forward to becoming a weekend warrior across the u.s.! Show me what it is about your home that makes it home.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
If I have to become an Adult I might as well have fun while doing it. Let's sip whiskey out of teacups wearing cat sweaters on a lovely Sunday afternoon. I want to meet new people to have a good time and keep the memories rolling.
I'm relatively new to couch surfing as a site mainly because in the past I've just found wonderful people on the road or hitchhiking but so far so good!
Interests
Sometimes your interests get too heavy to carry. I've been active all my life with playing many different sports. The last couple of years, I became an avid hiker, biker, and photo taker. I'd love to continue with seeing beautiful places with beautiful faces.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love any music that sets the mood for the moment. A song that creates a beautiful memory for you, so when ever your hear that song it rushes you back to that significant place in time.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Three truths and a lie: I've dug up human remains, I've cycled across South Korea, I've camped in the Outback, and I've hitchhiked in Alaska in a bush plane.....you decide which is true and which isn't and I'll let you know while I'm making dinner ;)
Teach, Learn, Share
I have advice, stories, and usually some sort of beverage to share with my hosts. The best thing I've learned though is to listen. Most of my stories start with I heard this or that from a friend or passer byer...then 5 mins later your sipping Maté in a sheep truck crossing the Argentinean boarder. Hearing what others have to say gets you places that you would have never thought existed and I look forward to hearing what you have to say.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Some stories, an open ear, and probably some Sconie beer.
