ABOUT ME

Hey! We are two girls aged 20 years who're travelling around Australia this spring/summer. We are very openminded and optimistic and love to explore other cultures. Our plan is to start in the south, Melbourne, and travel up north where we hope to stay at some couches during our trip.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are ready to discuss all kinds of subjects. Tell stories about our past past as vikings. Great listeners in all matters. Ready to teach you survival danish so you can go to Denmark safely - If you ever plan to go to the country which the americans call the capital of Sweden.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have now travelled around for a month an have stayed in several people's home through couchsurfing. We believe that you experience much more by travelling through Couchsurfing rather than spending time on hostels. Here it's packed with other turists when one of the things you really wanted to, was to meet the people of the country that you are travelling in.

Centres d'intérêt

One of us plays classical music on piano and the other one plays jazz. We both went on choir tours around the world and music has somehow always been a big part of our life though we dont want to make a living out of it. We do love to travel. Love to be creative. Very bad at planning so thats where the creativity becomes handy...

Visiting the Faroe Islands was a great experience. With it's clean and fresh air that reflexes the population, it's a place where you feel pure and welcomed. Fantastic views of deeply green hilltops with grassing sheeps on the side made a great impression on me.

A place I remember as fantastic is Istanbul. The enourmous city is really something special because of its geographical and cultural location - the great diversity of this city made an impression on me. I'll never forget the view of the sun setting among the minarets of Istanbul.

We believe that whenever people from different countries around the world meet, there will always be a natural difference in great many things such as school systems, taxes, popular music, politics, transportsystems etc. Just to name a few. The teaching, learning and sharing have already begun by meeting people from a different background than yourself.
