About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Dreaming up the next place to visit.

ABOUT ME

As a recent uni grad, I'm in the in-between stage in my life right now. I'm looking for the next opportunity to go travelling the world to see and do different things. I can be pretty goofy and fun loving, but at the same time I do enjoy some quiet relaxtion!

PHILOSOPHY

We're all here on this Earth together for only a brief moment in time; we might as well enjoy it together! A firm believer in kindness, tolerance and perspective.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately, I don't have appropriate digs to offer a place to stay just right now, but I hope to be moving soon. Right now, I'm happy with working up my experience travelling as a surfer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've just had one experience with Lidia, and it was great! She was the perfect host, showing us around the city, and I think she enjoyed the dinner we made :)

Interests

Ever since I was little, I've loved to cook. Cooking for others brings the people in my life together in a such a way that defines happiness. Nothing beats sharing a plate and a bottle of wine with the ones you love! And the experimenting with fresh and local ingredients can't be beat.
I also enjoy running for sake of running. So far, I've only run one professional 10km for charity, but I'm content to slap the pavement around my neighbourhood without a timer for now
Other than that, I can usually be found reading or relaxing in the sun (in the summer!)

Music, Movies, and Books

I have an ear for most kinds of music, but my heart will always be with alt country and bluegrass inspired songs. New, old, it doesn't matter, as long as I can find something to dance or sing to.

I can usually be found reading a few books at a time, but my favourites are "As I Lay Dying" By A. Faulkner and "Lamb" by Christopher Moore

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I drove (and camped) around Iceland's ring road.

Teach, Learn, Share

Like my grandmother always said, you should always start the day with clean underwear 'cause you never know what it will bring!

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Iceland, Scotland, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada
