ABOUT ME

Laid back, adventurous, like a challenge!
Left the UK to travel the world & to see as many places as possible!

Not wanting to be a typical traveller that just spends all my time in a hostel getting drunk or not interacting with the locals.

I grew up in the UK but most recently have spent a year in Nicaragua and travelling Central America. Currently making my way around South America.

PHILOSOPHY

I really do believe that everything happens for a reason even if you don't believe it at the time!

Also live by 'I'd rather regret something I have done, rather than something I haven't' & this is why I've chosen to put my career on hold to travel.

Just surfing at the moment but would like to host once I finish travelling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed in South America and absolutely loved it - definitely some of the highlights of my trip :)

Interests

Sports,travelling, seeing landscapes & sunsets, talking to others to share experiences and stories, reading & practicing my Spanish!

I also volunteer within organisations such as Raleigh International (British) & TECHO (Latin American).

Music, Movies, and Books

Anything goes really - love films based on true stories, but also a sucker for romance in movies & books!
I listen I anything decent, particularly like indie music, acoustic music & like the odd pop song! few favourites are Oasis, Mumford & Sons, Kings of Leon, Ed Sheeran, Adele etc

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Off the top of my head it is probably living and working in an under privileged community in the mountains of Nicaragua. I lived with a family for 10 weeks & was the most incredible experience, I met some many people & now regard that community as family, especially my host family.
To live without electricity & running water was a liberating experience & I learned so much during that time.

Teach, Learn, Share

Im a fluent/native English speaking & also have a TEFL qualification so I can teach.
Currently learning Spanish & keen to practice as I'm vying for fluency!
Had years of experience in Sport, particularly in athletics.
Spent 3 years working in the exciting world of advertising too!
