ABOUT ME

My partner Adam and I are keen travellers. After meeting in Australia where we lived in Melbourne and journeyed across the Nullabar together we travelled my home country of Canada to visit my family and the mountains, We then moved to Adams's home country, England, where we lived in London while saving for our next journey around South America!

We backpacked South America for 6 months from Brasil for the World Cup up to Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia & cutting briefly through Argie back to Brasil to depart.

We are now living in Toronto, Canada saving up money for our next adventure - our Wedding Tour!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We had some AWESOME Couchsurfing experiences in Colombia and Ecuador - being treated to some SERIOUSLY welcoming hosts and having access to amenities we had been missing for quite some time during our trip.

We have a small one bedroom in Toronto's Eastend at the moment and may consider helping out some travellers!

Interesses

Emma: Global cultures and societies, writing, outdoorsyness in all it's forms, reading music bio's, non-fiction history and interesting true account tales, classic novelists, and the occasional fictional epic (ie Harry Potter and the like).

Adam: upcycling - from beautiful hand crafted pieces to simple ways of re-using disposable things, restoring classic cars, fixing, building, and understanding how things work!

Books... I love reading all sorts - currently moving my way through South American fiction and history, but love reading musicians biographies, epics, classic, and the occasional fluff.. ;)

Movies.. Well I'll always choose a comedy if I'm pressed, but I love Film Noir and La Nouvelle Vague and am interested in most film history!

Music.. Classic rock, Hip Hop, Indie Hipster Stuff, Bad Pop, Reggae(ton), really everything
