life without music is like a film without a soundtrack.
right now i'm digging the new iron & wine album and am still in post-concert euphoria thanks to arcade fire. i also enjoy portishead, the xx, radiohead, cocorosie, mogwai, grizzly bear, sigur rós, björk, tallest man on earth, mumford and sons, the black keys, cold war kids, sleigh bells, yeasayer and lcd soundsystem. anything with an intriguing sound tickles my senses.

making music is also a rather enjoyable activity i like to take part in, on occasion.

the alchemist, written by paulo coelho, speaks words of wisdom. these words i live by.

film is a beautiful thing. i enjoy most independent films because the possibilities are endless. they are raw and real, a refreshing thing. submarine, breathless, diva, the vanishing, run lola run, the princess bride, candy.

also, alfred hitchcock is a genius.
