To gain some skills and gain some insight.
ABOUT ME
I am currently in the flow of post-grad life, enjoying the freedom and the fear that comes with it. I graduated in August of last year, with a double major in economics and international relations with a focus on Latin America. My passion is community activism, and I have committed myself to a lifelong pursuit of social justice. Currently, I am working on organizing toward food policy reform in the US, in order to make it easier for small farmers to thrive and people to gain access to fresh healthy food. I've participated in workers' rights campaigns, as well as fair trade campaigns. This August, I will be working with Green Corps to organize toward environmental justice and corporate accountability.
I love to talk about what I am passionate about, but I would rather hear what YOU are passionate about! I love a good conversation, and to learn through listening. It's even better over a beer, and better still if we can make each other laugh!
My house is a crazy time full of wonderful and inspiring characters. We are a rag-tag bunch, complete with tax policy students and hippie activists. We love to cook, we love to sing, we create and throw parties like you wouldn't believe. We would love to welcome you to our little family when you come stay with us! Once a Brandywino, always a Brandywino.
