About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Mm . Loving life and knitwear.
ABOUT ME
I grew up in a boring suburb in Hertfordshire, UK. I studied Anthropology, and then I got out and saw the world. I especially liked what I saw in South America. And Scotland. (Turns out there´s also many beautiful places in the UK.)
I have a background working in fair trade and human rights related organizations, founded Awamaki, a Peruvian NGO that collaborates with indigenous women textile artisans, and now work as a research consultant in sustainable business, responsible supply chains and indigenous peoples rights. I love art and textiles and have also founded the Bristol Textile Quarter, a textile-focussed makerspace in Bristol, UK.
I love ceviche.
PHILOSOPHY
But our palaces are the tents we carry with us.
