Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see beautiful flowers, meet beautiful people, and eradicate corporate capitalism.
ABOUT ME
I love my family, animals, mellow cafes, music, fresh food, and wandering aimlessly. I think that the whole Earth is a giant organism, so we're all connected and what hurts one creature hurts us all. The healing powers of a good song or a beautiful cloud cannot be underestimated.
PHILOSOPHY
I care about the world and all people in it: human and not. We are all connected and should honor that, but personal freedom is crucial. Ni dios ni patron ni marido.

Music, Movies, and Books
my current favorites are joanna newsom (i saw her perform this week!), angel olsen, courtney barnett, ani difranco forever, pj harvey, k records peeps, bob dylan always please, and mark kozelek. but that list is incomplete because i love getting music from the library and rotating favorites.
i love books and have a profile on goodreads if you want to check it out. particularly like radical biographies (assata, emma goldman, malcolm x)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I ran for Sheriff of my county and got 13,000 votes. I actually disliked the overall campaign/politics experience, but it was amazing at times, like talking to a large crowd, calling for an end to incarcerating people for nonviolent drug crimes, and getting lots of cheers.
Teach, Learn, Share
I taught a free school Spanish class for a few months at the waypost cafe in Portland (which I'm not sure I'm qualified to to anymore, because years have passed and the Spanish keeps getting rustier). I would love to keep speaking Spanish with people. I can sew, hula-hoop, and play beginning ukulele. I can make spanakopita, kombucha, and sometimes sauerkraut.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share food, book recommendations, political prisoner mailing addresses, cards, stamps, and smiles.
