I am an adventurous young woman in love with mountains, fall colors, deep conversations, improvised travels, the universe, kickboxing, speakeasies, Portugal, scuba diving and snorkeling, surprises, music festivals, road trips, red wine, white wine, ski under the sun, classical music, emotions, warm summer evenings, dancing, singing, techno parties, clear blue water, intimate concerts, coffeeshops, walks at dusk, good and tasty food, (organic, local and seasonal), fascinated by trees, nature, animals, humans, our solar system, the universe, willingly using (dark) humor, and deeply loving life (and beer🍺 and gin tonic 🥒 )

CURRENT MISSION

Just happily graduated from my masters in business management at Grenoble Ecole de Management and McGill University, and just finished working on my thesis about blockchain for sustainability.
I started a job in Montreal, Canada.

ABOUT ME

I am a French/Dutch/Vietnamese girl currently living and working in Montreal, Canada 🇨🇦

As most of the members of this community, the thing that thrills me the most is traveling and everything that comes around it. Just makes me feel so fantastically alive!

If I had to describe myself a little bit more, I would say that I am a positive, curious, adventurous and smiling person.
I am trying to find good sights in everything and also trying to make the best of every moment.

I have a lot of positive energy and I am very willing to learn about anything, share knowledge and culture, tell and listen to incredible stories. Always up for new adventures, I’m that type of girl that spontaneous goes for a random solo trip out of nowhere :))

Even though I do love going out, have drinks, party and dance all night, in the daytime I can be quite calm and discrete.

Having endless conversations about each other's life, experiences, vision on things, and share opinions is something I also really enjoy. To me, it’s super interesting to share thoughts and experiences with people from all around the world, it broadens minds and makes us more tolerant 🌞

Traveling is for me the best way to grow up with an open mindset, learn things in a different way than sitting on a chair at uni. I really think that it’s the best way to live the most amazing life experiences and fulfill my curiosity.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Why am I here ? Well, to me, that question seems to have an obvious answer...
Couchsurfing is simply the BEST way to meet locals of a foreign country, hang out with them, discover hidden places... Having traveled around about 15 countries with this community, I can assure that it is the most exciting part about traveling. What better way to get to know a place than from real local living there?
It is also fantastic to host people from everywhere, show them around, share with them the cool places you know, hear their travel stories because in that way I have a little bit the feeling of traveling while leading a daily routine.

Music, Movies, and Books

Wow, well I really love to listen to music, it's a big part of my life! Let’s go to a concert, a festival, a dance party or a rave I’ll be so happy to go!

And then, I don't really watch a lot of movies or series but a definite highlight is Breaking Bad!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Survived until now and found out about my origins at age 25.

FINLAND 🇫🇮 : I was exchange student there for 1 year when I was 16.
SPAIN 🇪🇸 : I spent 2 month as an Au pair girl there when I was 18.
PHILIPPINES 🇵🇭 : I was there as a volunteer doing humanitarian aid in a village during 2 months when I was 19.
ARGENTINA 🇦🇷 : I spent 6 months traveling and doing an university exchange in Córdoba when I was 20.
TANZANIA 🇹🇿 : I volunteered in an orphanage for 3 months in 2018.
PORTUGAL 🇵🇹 : I was there for 2 month to learn some Portuguese at Lisbon university in 2019.
CANADA 🇨🇦 : I spent one exchange semester at McGill university for my masters in 2021 and then went to live there for my first job in 2022-2023.
VIETNAM 🇻🇳 : I went there in July-August 2022 for the first time after 25 years to look for my origins, to understand where I come from and meet my biological family.
MEXICO 🇲🇽, GUATE 🇬🇹, COLOMBIA 🇨🇴 : Traveled around for 4 months in 2023-2024. Just got back!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Dutch, English, Spanish and French and I am learning Portuguese!
I would love to learn how to play some instruments, such as cello and guitar, how to dance RockandRoll, Bachata, Salsa...
I also would love to go with Couchsurfers to a live music bar to enjoy concerts with beer and eat out some good local food.
We also could sing together!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Beautiful and interesting conversations, typical French breakfast, bean humus, a singing session, homemade sushis, a photography session, a workout/running session, a walking tour around my city, a fun night out in bars or clubs and of course my couch and my time!
