I am a French/Dutch/Vietnamese woman currently living in France.

In a few words, I'd say I am an adventurous young woman in love with mountains, fall colours, deep conversations, improvised travels, live shows, kickboxing, speakeasies, Portugal, scuba diving and snorkelling, surprises, music festivals, road trips, red wine, ski under the sun, classical music, emotions, warm summer evenings, dancing, singing, techno parties, clear blue water, intimate concerts, coffeeshops, inner journeys, walks at dusk, good and tasty food, (organic, local and seasonal), fascinated by trees, nature, animals, forests, humans, our solar system, the universe, willingly using (dark) humour, and deeply loving life (and beer🍺 and gin tonic 🥒 ). Well that was a long sentence!

After earning my master's degree in business management from GEM and McGill University, I started a job in Montreal, Canada. However, the weather was too rough for me, so I returned to France and now started to run my own MedTech startup.

Like many members of this community, traveling is the thing that thrills me the most along with everything that comes around it. It makes me feel so fantastically alive!

If I were to describe myself a bit more, I'd say I'm positive, curious, adventurous, and mostly smiling. I strive to see the good in everything and make the best of every moment. I have an abundance of positive energy and a strong desire to learn about anything, share knowledge and culture, and exchange incredible stories. I'm always up for new adventures and am the type of girl who spontaneously goes on random solo trips, out of nowhere :))

While I love going out, having drinks, partying, and dancing all night, I can also be quite calm and discrete during the day. I deeply enjoy having endless conversations about life, experiences, and perspectives. Sharing thoughts and experiences with people from all over the world broadens our minds and fosters tolerance 🌞.

Traveling, for me, is the best way to grow with an open mindset and learn in ways that sitting behind a desk can't provide. It’s the key to living the most amazing life experiences and satisfying my curiosity..

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Why Am I Here?

The answer is simple: Couchsurfing is the ultimate way to connect with locals, uncover hidden gems, and experience the true essence of a place.

Having traveled to about 15 countries with this incredible community, I can confidently say that meeting locals and exploring their favorite spots is the most thrilling part of traveling. There's no better way to understand a place than through the eyes of someone who lives there.

Hosting travelers is just as fantastic. Showing them around, sharing the coolest places, and hearing their travel stories makes me feel like I'm traveling, even while following my daily routine.

I really feel Couchsurfing isn't just about finding a place to stay; it's about creating unforgettable experiences and forming genuine and lasting connections.

And then, I don't really take time to watch a lot of movies or TV shows but a definite highlight is Breaking Bad!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Survived until now and found out about my roots and origins at age 25.

FINLAND 🇫🇮 : I was exchange student for 1 year when I was 15.
SPAIN 🇪🇸 : I was an Au pair for 2 months when I was 18.
PHILIPPINES 🇵🇭 : I leaded a humanitarian project in a village for 2 months when I was 19.
ARGENTINA 🇦🇷 : I was exchange student for 6 months in Córdoba when I was 20.
TANZANIA 🇹🇿 : I volunteered in an orphanage for 3 months in 2018.
PORTUGAL 🇵🇹 : I learned Portuguese at the Lisbon university for 2 months in 2019.
CANADA 🇨🇦 : I was exchange student at McGill university for my masters in 2021 and then I worked for first job in 2022-2023.
VIETNAM 🇻🇳 : I was there in July-August 2022 for the first time after 25 years of search for my origins, to understand where I come from and finally find my biological family.
MEXICO 🇲🇽, GUATEMALA 🇬🇹, COLOMBIA 🇨🇴 : Backpacked around for 4 months in 2023-2024. Just got back, what a wonderful trip!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Dutch, English, Spanish and French and I am learning Portuguese!
I would love to learn how to play some instruments, such as cello and guitar, how to dance Rock&Roll, Bachata, Salsa,
I also love to go out with hosts or guests and enjoy concerts with drinks and good local food.

What I Can Share with Hosts
