Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
First couch-surfing experience!! Love the concept of sharing & inter-connecting across the globe - enabling others to travel & experience more of life & other cultures without financial gain!
Interests
Live entertainment in all forms: music, stand up comedy, theatre, poetry slams, talks, exhibitions etc. Especially love music & dancing and going to small gigs- eclectic taste ranging from metal, classical, punk, irish ballads, dub, to senegalise instrumental etc etc ( although feel more alive at a metal concert or an orchestral performance) Just got myself an allotment & started to organic garden. Love the sea & swim everyday ( in a pool!!) & try to be more outdoors than indoors. I love the concept of freecycling & actively participate & am always either making or cooking something with a glass of red wine in hand. Love spending time with friends & family. Dinner parties (curries my fave) or nights down the pub, gigs in dingy clubs, or midnight picnics on the beach, camping etc etc. I teach academic English to foreign students - love having the world in my classroom! Basically i try to live a simple, fun life away from distractions of capitalist / consumerist/ individualistic society. I've just turned 40 which i find hillarious. I love meeting people, learning & trying to improve the quality of my life & others. ok enough waffling! : )
