ABOUT ME

My name is Emmanuel Martín. I am a spanish man of 28 years old, patient, proactive and always willing to learn. I have lived in different parts of Spain, Portugal, France and some place in England.

I have experience sharing home with very different people for many years. I am very respectful of the space and routines of others.

I studied ecology, environmental education and organic gardening. Now, i will start to study Cultural and Tourist animator. I speak Spanish, French and a little English and Portugues.

PHILOSOPHY

I think high expectations are not positive for a good relationship. I appreciate the humility and honesty in people, have confidence between us and equal treatment among adults will be best for everyone. Always ready to learn! Sometimes you win and sometimes you learn!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Together with some friends we are developing projects of cultural and environmental education. We have an environmental association and our activities are conducted in centers and outdoors. Still , we need a room to store the material , working with computer and infrequently mensual (for a day or two) to receive profesional people with open mind invited to eventual workshops. We have a room in an apartment with a large terrace and has three bedrooms plus. We like to share the apartament with people from other cultures.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have worked on projects of ecovillage, gardens organics, community spaces, etc. Places based on mutual aid, cooperative and solidarity. I have worked a lot of kitchen helper in restaurants and hotels, I like working in the kitchen. I have also worked as a waiter.

Interests

I have a positive feeling about the exchange. I like the economy of the Time Bank and Community Exchange System. I volunteer in several exchange systems.
