ABOUT ME

Grateful for the CS community.. Through this wonderful community, I was able to meet the most amazing travel partner/love of my life. We hope to travel together someday... We're both very adventurous people and we are thirsting to discover this world.

How do I occupy myself you asked?
Simple.. A life of toil during the weekdays and on the weekends, a life of relaxation.. and that includes an occasional partying here and there. (not always, but when time permits).

Lastly, My Dream is to embrace life. To live my life to its maximum potential. I long to embrace each opportunity, accepting each experience as a contribution to the person I’m supposed to be. I dream of seeing the world, indulging in cuisines I would have never thought to try at home. I dream of LEARNING LANGUAGES, and being able to communicate with people who share different views of the world. I dream of letting go of any insecurities that may hold me back from embracing the world. I dream of letting go…

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy of life is to be kind, generous, and helpful. I believe people have the innate abilities to succeed if they can remove the obstacles to their growth. Fear, anxiety, and depression are crippling influences in the normal pattern of development for people. Life is about growing, changing, and continually trying to find out who one is in their lives. Life is mysterious, intriguing, scary, and at times meaningless. These contradictory qualities of life make it unsettling and ambiguous. Nevertheless, change and progress speed forward. The rudder in my life while we are proceeding forward seems to be the self actualization of people and trying to help them through the wisdom I have gained over my life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love the idea of being able to travel around the world and meeting new people. To get a glimpse of their livelihood, their culture, and their ways- is such a privilege to be given the experience of a lifetime.

At the present time, I'm scrapping every bits of change on the floor, so that i too can travel around the world and experience the many wonders that I have yet to see. In the meantime, I'm channeling this desire to learn about people and their culture by opening my home and hearing their stories, their lives, and their experiences.

Interests

I love to explore food and judging from the amount of weight i've gained over the years, i came to realized that I just love to eat. hehehe. I should really cut down on everything that's bad for me but the bad ones are usually the most fulfilling ones..

I occasionally like to read a good book with a glass of wine.. When that book really catches my interest, that very glass turns into a bottle.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like watching goofy movies.. Movies that do not require of me to think or over analyze the next scene. I'd just like to sit, laugh my butt off and feel relaxed. We deal with a lot of BS in our lives as it is, the last thing I want is to watch a movie that teaches me the moral value of life. I can find that on my own.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My travel repertoire is somewhat limited but the places i've been (France, Belgium, Italy, Monaco..) the most amazing thing that i've witnessed is not the place in itself but the people that lives in them.
