I am average height and build, dark complexioned, with a friendly disposition. I have a sense of humour that is matched by a sense of honour. I feel that everyone wants to experience happinesd in life, and that this goal is like a smile: it is easier to receive if it is always offered to others.

So, I endeavour to be cheerful, friendly, kind, clean, sober, thoughtful, organized, fair, creative, and adventurous. I like to be a light and a sweet incense wherever I am, and to encourage others to find that spark, that radiance, that sweetness, in their circumstances - at least for as long as I am among them.

I enjoy intelligent conversations, poetry, chess, scrabble, music, a fine vegetarian cuisine, science fiction, mythology, history, world cultures, most music, documentaries, and inspirational movies. Oh, I might have to make a separate list fir so much else that I also enjoy.

I am educated in many fields, and am open-minded and desirous of understanding all cultures. I look at our humanity as one, and very easily make friends with people from all walks of life.

I hope that couchsurfing will provide my hosts/guests and I a richer and fuller human experience, and that we can all be safe in wisdom. I feel that the art of living is like the the arts of speaking, singing, eating, and drinking: as the delicate tongue must move artfully among the teeth, like a princess guarded by dragons, even so our ideals must be managed amidsts the challenges and vicissitudes of life.

In the end, good intent and sound wisdom must work toward the noble purpose of mutual good.
