Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started “travelling” by visiting my natal country: France. I visited some French cities I did not know about, met very nice people, and tried plenty of new activities.

Thus, wishing to enjoy the most of my moments in the place I am visiting, I prefer couchsurfing because I consider that there is no better day than a day recommended, or better, spent with, a person living on site. In addition, if I can offer by my presence a nice and jovial moment to my host, then I consider that I have won everything!

Thanks to my hosts and the new experiences they make me live, I gained self-confidence and I started to travel a little bit further, and a little bit longer than just a weekend. Traveling as a woman who is quite worried about the unknown was difficult, but travel after travel, I gained more and more confidence and learned to love the challenge.

For now, I would like to discover two countries I always dreamt about: Spain and Italia. So let’s go for this new adventure. I hope to meet you on the road :-)

Interests

I am a rather sporty girl, who likes hiking, climbing and dancing. I like creative stuff, like drawing, painting or DIY things (even if I am not really good at it ^^). I also love intellectual discussions, about psychology, personal development, etc.

However, what I love above all, it is to listen to people talking to me about things I do not know. So if you have different hobbies or passions, I’m all ears !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ascending the complete GR20 (a very difficult hiking trail in Corsica) on a whim, without any physical preparation
- Go on an expedition to Spitsbergen to admire the total eclipse of the sun
- Go on a kayak expedition to Greenland
- Working 2 months as a musher in Canada
