About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to love people and feed them delicious food!
ABOUT ME
i have gone to great lengths to seek a flavor or a story or a single human being that meant a great deal to me. i take love and family seriously. i'm looking for joy. i love art but am restless in it, have written, made jewelry, sung, played, photographed, danced, acted, farmed and cooked at any one time. i relish experience. i try to move towards what i am most afraid of. i love tattoos and have 2 and at least 3 in the works. i'm done with college and am seeking purpose and direction and hope to accumulate stories along the way...
PHILOSOPHY
some combination of living my life to its fullest, breaking away from limitations, leaving things better than when i found it, etc.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
i have been on the asking end of this deal- if i can stay on your floor i will be your pleasant houseguest and will cook you dinner! now that i have a place to host, i hope i can give back to the cs community, and have some good meals and conversations along the way!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
i have had great times pretty much everywhere i've been! have found some wonderful, generous people who are engaging to talk to- i learn something new every time i surf somewhere. the entire quality of how i travel has changed with cs, i've gone from being an outside observer to an active participant in the places i'm visiting, and for that i am incredibly grateful!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
climbed piltriquitron in patagonia, argentina, making it to the near-top with a friend, greeted by ice-cold, home-brewed beer. stayed the night and my friend had seen enough and decided to descend. but we were so close...i was reluctant to follow, ran by chance into a group of argentines on their way up. could i join, i asked, i'm a slow climber, i said, they say sure! and gleefully lend me walking poles and so i leave my friend to find his own way back to interneting with his girlfriend and carefully piece my way up the loose rock to the top, a view of the andean ridge well-earned. sucking down fresh stream water and a 6-foot-wing-spanned condor of black and white soars by and lands right next to us on the very top, talking to us, eyeing us up and down and spreading its wings when we get too close. after its half-hour blessing it takes off and joins its mate and flies away into an invisible speck to the other side of the valley.
