Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have met some avid CS fans lately so am keen to get involved. I have surfed in the States & Mexico & am now looking to reciprocate the generosity I have received in hosting others.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Life changing! I surfed in a few places in the States whilst road tripping from Newfoundland to Vancouver. I camped, stayed in hostels and hotels and then couch surfed some too. I've been truly enriched, have laughed lots and have some real friends to come and visit me now! Looking back at the epic trip, the highlights have been experiences I have enjoyed through couch surfing.
Interests
Food glorious food, hiking, kayaking, yoga, photography, picnics, making jewellery. Not adverse to the odd social outing & recently caught my first Barramundi !

Music, Movies, and Books
Got to love a good tune. I appreciate loads of sounds. Tom Waites, Moby, She & Him, Angus & Julia Stone, Radiohead to name a few... Soul music seems to touch that emotive spot for me.
Books - Eat, Pray, Love ... Tuesdays with Morrie, The Kite Runner
Movies - Fried green tomatoes, One Week. Love world movies & comedies (anything that get you belly giggling).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being invited to dance in a wedding celebration in the streets of Rajasthan, India. Quad biking in the dunes of Namibia. Sailing around Croatia's stunning Islands.
Camel riding & camping out in the Sahara Desert. Learning to make cheese on a farm in Quebec. Playing cricket with my family in the sun on Christmas Day!
Teach, Learn, Share
I know multiple card games & can make a mean smoothie!
On a serious note, I'm humbled with those unexpected joys in life right now & look forward to sharing the journey.
