I was lucky enough to grow up with parents who introduced me to travel at a young age. Now, whenever I can, I spend my time traveling and telling the stories of those I meet with my camera.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love getting to know people and having conversations about things that might not usually come up in day to day life. Many of the amazing people I've met traveling have been couchsurfers –wonderful, interesting, and open minded people– and have been encouraging me to join the community for years.

Music, Movies, and Books

I adore GRRM's "A Song of Ice and Fire" (better known as Game of Thrones), both the book and televised version. On the Sci-fi end of the spectrum there's Orson Scott Card's "Ender's Game" and a few others... Currently I'm reading Anne McCaffrey's Pern series.

I like movies that make you think, like Memento, or The Imitation Game. Also really enjoyed the LOTR trilogy and Guardians of the Galaxy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent four years subsisting primarily on kraft dinner (the scary looking boxed mac and cheese) while sailing around the world.
