About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To learn all that I can about the world and the people in it.

ABOUT ME

I LOVE to travel. I think that the world is a facinating and diverse place and I want to experience it all. I am a student still, but I also work at a family-run sports store, at an early-childhood development center, as a life guard/ swim coach, and as a volunteer leader for a hiking/ camping program. I am interested in music, I love to read, and I would really like to learn to speak French. I believe that people are inatley good and I accept them as a friend unless they prove otherwise. I like learning by doing and by hearing others stories. I think overall that I am a fun person.

PHILOSOPHY

the day you stop learning is the day you die.
a quote from a song i really enjoy (talking about life'sjourney) goes as follows:
"you'l laugh, you'll cry, no one knows why, but oh the thrill of it all. You're on the ride, you might as well open your eyes!"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think that taveling is important step to being a world citizen. Unfortunately, travel is usually very expensive, which keeps many people from being able to do it. I think that couch-surfing offers people means to be able to travel in an affordable way. I would love to offer my couch to anyone comming through, unfortunatley I don't live in an exciting city at the moment, but one day I might.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had an unbelieveable experience with couch surfing. Even though I have only doen it one time so far, I would reccomend it everyone! It is a great way to really learn about the place you are visiting and the people are amazing. I enjoyed learning about and getting to taste the regional foods, but mostly I just enjoyed being with my hosts.

Interests

Right now I am interested in having people fill in the gaps for the Warm Showers network (couch surfing for cyclists). I need help finding places to crash for me and occasionally my friends who are traveling.
